The Great Migration across the fabled Mara River pounds the heartbeat of every guest in sync with the earth itself. A thunderous stampede that moves the cycle of life. As a young girl, Katelyn dreamed the day would come that she could experience it herself.
All these years later, Katelyn embarked on a nine-day journey with her husband through Tanzania to fulfill a lifelong dream. This dream came alive through the guidance and narration of Kennedy, whose expertise transformed the fast-moving migration into a real-life scene. Their journey found the lush, rushing mists of Materuni Waterfalls near Kilimanjaro as well as the elevated, quiet sanctuary of luxury migration camps at the edge of the Northern Serengeti. Yet, it was Katelyn’s childhood wish of watching the wildebeest brave the treacherous currents of the Mara River crossing that became the most breathtaking reality.
